The Sports has gained tremendous popularity universally, as such it has been taken way of life in most of the countries. The aim of the Government of India under the Human development strategy to use the sports as tools to transform the society. Through the sports introduction in the society from grass root level the frustrated, disorganized,
Disgruntled youth could be transformed and diverted from the anti social activities through which the state and nation could achieve socio economic change and establishes social reconstruction.
The introduction of the PYKKA scheme in the country has expelled the HUE & CRY used to be raised occasionally form all corners of the society that the sports are ignored in the society as the country in terms of population is 2nd largest and 7th largest in terms area which could not achieve medals in the international competitions. The PYKKA scheme has given answer to all these questions and the administrators at the helm of sports administration could stand confidently and answer the negative senses with positive approach.
The PYKKA scheme has motivated the people of all levels in the society and state administrations, Politicians, Philanthropists and al the Welfare organizations are in the direction to extend their whole hearted co-operation by way of contributions.
The states in the country which have already planned up the development of play fields are assured by the state administration to contribute the finances as matching grants in case the funds sanctioned and released by the Government of India through the state Governments are not sufficient.
The entire sports fraternity of the states are quite satisfied and eagerly waiting for further sanctions of the future phases as to avail the rare and useful opportunity to promote the sports and games right form the level habitations in convergence of all the organizations.
